I first joined McMaster University in 1998, and have worked in Public Relations, the Centre for Continuing Education, the School of Nursing  and most recently in the Department of Family Medicine. I have been involved in all aspects of educational programming –from development, implementation, advising and marketing to evaluation and strategic review. My educational background includes a B.A. in Communication Studies, a post-grad diploma in Public Relations and Corporate Communications, and I am currently working on my Masters of Higher Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. I have a particular interest in online education and emerging learning technologies.

I live in beautiful downtown Dundas with my husband Pete, daughter Olivia, son Kellen and 'kid in a fur coat' Lucky. I spend most of my time with them hiking, biking and playing. Any free time is spent reading, writing and most recently, running!
